1. Happy Halloween! Tell us, what is your perfect Halloween night?

Happy Halloween to you as well! It’s for sure changed over the years with age and perspective but, a solid Halloween night is actually working the bar and taking Joker’s money (laughs). Honestly it’s always fun meeting women on Halloween because you get way more insight into the psyche with whatever costume they go with.

2. What is the perfect Halloween horror to put on?

Traditionally my childhood friend and I always have to watch the original Halloween on Halloween, it’s just a classic and her mom always let us just watch that one for some strange reason at a young age.

3. In our best Ghostface voice – what’s your personal favourite scary movie and why?

Honestly my favorite horror movie is Scream, the way Wes goes overly meta in that first one is just an example of his absolute genius when it comes to the genre he helped create.

4. What’s your earliest memory of seeing a horror movie?

When I was very young my sister locked me in our spooky unfinished basement and had the movie IT playing on the TV. I have hated clowns and that movie ever since.

5. Have you ever experienced something unusual or unexplainable in real life?

Back in the day on tours we would try and hit spooky places or just search out the weird, nothing super crazy happened but we spent the night in a New Orleans graveyard and that evening just had us all feeling extremely uneasy.

6. What’s the best modern horror you’ve seen recently?

I’m not a super fan of modern horror but I’d say one recently that I absolutely didn’t hate was Hereditary.

7. What is your favourite type of horror?

The old school slasher films for sure. They didn’t rely on gore and were always riding the perfect line of both psychological and entertained feelings while watching those.

8. What’s a horror cliché that you just can’t stand?

The Gorerror genre is one that I just don’t understand where they just go so overly brutal on the torture and blood. Just write a good script instead of relying on gimmicks to disgust and make consumers unsettled.

9. Freddy, Michael or Jason? Who is your favourite and why?

Michael for sure! There is just a special place for the Halloween franchise minus the newest Halloween Ends because in my opinion that was an absolute trainwreck of a movie.

10. 70s sleaze or 80s cheese. What’s your poison and why?

80’s for sure because they were just the proper amount of cheesy and scary to retain the imagination. Plus those hit movies from the 80’s are still being recycled over and over again in modern day so obviously they did something right back then.

11.Would you rather: spend a night in 112 Ocean Avenue (Amityville) or Hill House (The Haunting/The Haunting of Hill House)?

I’d rather not do any of those but Amityville could be pretty neat I guess (laughs).

12. Would you rather: ‘play a game’ (Saw) or be ‘shown such sights’ (Hellraiser)?

Hellraiser for sure, simply cannot stand the Saw franchise.

13. Would you rather: have a good guy doll (Chucky) or an Annabelle doll (Annabelle/The Conjuring)?

Chucky because he didn’t really have the inner psychological ability that Annabelle had and I would pop that sucker’s head off the moment I got it.

14. Would you rather: be stuck in the Burkittsville, Maryland woods (Blair Witch) or stuck in the caves of the Appalachian Mountains (The Descent)?

The woods, if I was lost enough and wanted help I would simply just start a huge forest fire and risk the penalty to be saved from the witch.

15. Would you rather: be hunted by the Predator or by the Alien?

Alien, I want to see it coming and not have some invisible monster chasing me, plus I am fascinated by aliens.

16. What character would you be in a traditional slasher movie (the nerd, the jock, the cheerleader, the final girl etc)?

I mean I was the kid that always played sports in high school so traditionally for a slasher movie set in that time frame I would be the jock.
