Miss Leslie’s Dolls was released in 1973 and subsequently disappeared having been thought to be lost. Until 2018 when Network Distributing restored and released it. Now, everyone can experience the uniquely dated, brazenly bizarre and undeniably entertaining film.

Written and directed by Patrick Ridremont, The Advent Calendar is a ‘festive’ horror movie that starts off strongly, but slowly loses its way across its unnecessarily long 101-minute runtime. It’s a real shame because there’s so much to like about it.
If you’re a big fan of the original, you might enjoy Silent Night, Bloody Night 2: Revival more because it has the same feel. Everyone else is unlikely to find this anything more than a boorish chore.
