Horror Movie Review: Dead Shack (2017)
A Canadian horror-comedy, Dead Shack doesn’t bring anything fresh to the zombie genre but in a nice turn of events is fairly entertaining and has some decent comedic moments.

The premise of The Ferryman is sound, a young woman fails to commit suicide and after recovering is pursued by an evil being that demands ‘payment’. Unfortunately, it just ends up being a disappointing movie.
This film is based on Catual events. With that opening graphic, you know exactly what kind of movie you’re in for with Zombie Cats From Mars. A campy love-letter to sci-fi horror comedy starring everyone’s favourite evil household pets, cats.
Proof that no matter how rubbish your film is, anyone can make a sequel and in the case of the Camp Blood films, many…many sequels. Camp Blood 2 looks to continue the story set out in the first in lazy and cliched fashion.

“From out of the darkness the hand of the Redeemer shall appear to punish those who have lived in sin… and return to the watery depths of Hell”.
Beginning life as a short film by writer/director Richard Bates Jr, Excision was transformed into a feature length film with a number of notable actors. Leaning into the ‘art film’ category of horror thanks to its dreamy visuals and surreal macabre horror.
Writer/Director Brad Sykes manages to evoke a range of emotions in Camp Blood. You’ll feel boredom, frustration, annoyance, confusion and sadness. The latter because you’ve wasted your time watching the film when you could have been stabbing a fork into your hand instead.
