Paleface Swiss – Everything is Fine

Paleface Swiss continue their strong momentum into the end of 2025 with the release of their new single, ‘Everything Is Fine’, together with an emotionally moving new music video. ‘Everything Is Fine’ marks the final single ahead of the band’s highly anticipated “The Wilted EP”, set for release on January 2nd, 2026.

Vocalist Zelli comments:

‘Everything Is Fine’ tells the story of two lovers caught in situations they can not change. They face unfair trials that wound them, yet they try to accept what neither wants to accept. In trying to numb the pain, it only cuts deeper because they keep asking why love fails even when they’ve done everything right.

I think it’s fair to say that 2026 is going to be another huge year for Paleface Swiss and they’re setting the bar high with this new EP. Each track has shown depth and variety, and this new single goes the more melodic route, delivering something with potent emotion. A side to Paleface Swiss that we don’t get to hear enough of. It’s a tearful listen that proves unequivocally that this band has a ton of range.

Krooked Tongue – I Don’t Believe in Ghosts

Bristol’s rock trio Krooked Tongue return with ‘I Don’t Believe in Ghosts’. The latest single to be taken from their debut studio album ‘I Know a Place’ which arrives on April 24th, 2026, to limited edition vinyl.

The unforgettable ride continues, and this stop contains some of the prettiest melodies and touching vocals heard so far from Krooked Tongue. I adore the piano here and how the vocals sit alongside it so comfortably. It’s a really powerful track, and a side to Krooked Tongue that I think everyone will love. Check it out here.

Crystal Lake – Neversleep (feat. Myke Terry of Volumes and Fire from the Gods)

There’s not long to go until Japanese metalcore force Crystal Lake release their new album ‘The Weight of Sound’. Set for a release 23rd January 2026 via Century Media Records, the band has now unveiled ‘Neversleep’; another single from the upcoming record. The track features Myke Terry from Volumes and Fire from the Gods on vocals.

Guitarist and founder YD shares about the single:

This track is the one where I poured in the Hardcore/Metal/Punk elements that I’ve carried as my own background to the limit. It’s simple, but with an extra twist, and at times hybrid arrangements, updating it into the kind of extreme sound that represents the current CRYSTAL LAKE. Every part of the song is made for you to dance, so don’t think too much — just feel it and enjoy. Stay heavy.

I’m digging the current direction of Crystal Lake and can really hear how they’ve combining who they were with who they are now. This is some old-school chaos. Fast and furious with some of the most scathing vocals heard all year. This is Crystal Lake at their heaviest and wildest, it’s awesome. Check it out here.

Divine Chaos – Hate Reactor

UK modern thrash heavyweights Divine Chaos return with new single ‘Hate Reactor’, their first new track release since 2020’s The Way to Oblivion and a defining moment in the band’s evolution.

Thrash, but thrash with groove and a hint of modern metal, Divine Chaos have unleashed a beast of a track here. The kind that makes the heart beat that little bit faster, and all because of rampaging riffs, screaming soloing, feral drumbeats, and punchy vocals. Chances are, for four minutes straight, you’ll find yourself head banging hard to this one.

Coagulating – Hatefucked

St. Louis, IL’s Coagulating will be releasing their next single, ‘Hatefucked’, on December 9th, ahead of their forthcoming EP ‘Deciphering My Scalded Creation’, which is out January 2nd, 2026.

Guess what? A track call Hatefucked proves to be a violent, aggressive, and intense blast of vomit inducing death metal. As grim as it gets, with a really coarse edge, it’s nasty, but it is appealing. Provided you like the extreme side of metal and even then, it pushes the limits of decency. Upon release, check it out here.

Scratch One Grub – #1

Emerging from the valleys with a sound as fierce as their hometown spirit, Scratch One Grub are ready to make their mark with the release of their debut album, ‘One’, arriving Friday, 27th February 2026. Leading the charge is the single and video, #1, out now.

A track that needs time to unpack as there is a fair bit going on throughout it. It’s both fast and heavy, rooted in the modern metal world, with alternative twists to the formula, and structured in a chaotic way. It’s a track that leaves you feeling so confused at first, but the longer it goes on, and the more times you hear it, the hookier it becomes. They’re a cool sounding band with a lot of promise.

Unburier – Survive the Vermin

UK death metal band Unburier has returned with a vengeance on their latest single, ‘Survive the Vermin’. The new song introduces the band’s upcoming EP, ‘As Time Awaits’.

I do like this band and it’s great to hear such a furiously heavy, groovy, and energised effort from them. Suggesting that this new EP is going to be a bit of a banger. It’s very addictive. Filled with razor sharp riffs, tectonic drumbeats, and ferocious vocals, the way it develops over its near five-minute runtime is very impressive. Check it out here.

Roman Candle – Nothing is Original

Las Vegas hardcore firebrand, Roman Candle share the brand new single ‘Nothing Is Original’, arriving with an accompanying music video. The new track continues the band’s prolific output following their signing to Sumerian Records earlier this year.

Speaking on the release, vocalist Piper Ferrari shares:

’Nothing Is Original’ was the first song we wrote for the new record, and it set the emotional temperature for everything that followed. Those early lines—‘holier than thou / holier than me’—opened the door to a kind of raw self-interrogation we hadn’t tapped into before. It became the blueprint for the entire album: messy, honest, and painfully human.

Short (ish) and to the point, Roman Candle return with a blast of exciting hardcore chaos that uses melody in clever ways and infuses punk spirit into every aspect of the track. The shift at the half point is eye-widening and you will be compelled to pay attention to the spoken words here. Check it out here.

Ov Sulfur – Vast Eternal

On 16th January 2026, blackened deathcore quintet Ov Sulfur will release their sophomore album, ‘Endless’, via Century Media Records. The new single ‘Vast Eternal’ is out now, alongside a video.

Guitarist/vocalist Chase Wilson reveals:

Imagine if you died and were all alone in an endless void of nothingness: no friends, no family, just endless dark and loneliness. That’s the mood we wanted to set while writing this song. You can hear that Leviathvn took the reins (his first OV SULFUR song as lead writer!) with its chaotic black metal chorus and war march verse. This song goes through a mental breakdown, a person losing their sanity in the endless void.

Vocalist Ricky Hoover affirms the topic, with a dive into the unconscious mind from which the song was birthed:

This song is about dreams I’ve had repeatedly since the passing of my grandma, to whom we dedicated ‘Wither,’ in which my consciousness exists in nothingness forever. In that sleeping world, there’s no Heaven, no Hell after death… just nothingness.

There is no doubt in my mind now that this is going to be one of the grandest deathcore albums of the year, and an album that is going to help Ov Sulfur blow up even more. Taking their blackened edge and ramping up an extravagant side, while still focusing on the intensity of their deathcore sound. It’s savage, but it’s epic savagery.

Textures – Vanishing Twin

Ahead of the release of their highly anticipated new album ‘Genotype’ (23rd January, Kscope), Textures have shared their new single ‘Vanishing Twin’. Inspired by personal experience of the band members, it explores the rarely discussed “Vanishing Twin Syndrome”.

Explains drummer, Stef:

I have two relatives who struggle with the so-called Lost or Vanishing Twin syndrome. This happens when two foetuses emerge in the womb, but one of them is absorbed by the woman’s body or the other twin. The remaining child that is being born will often deal with the traumatic feeling of having lost a brother/sister and this can shape their life in a significant way.

What an interesting subject to focus on, and in expected Textures fashion, they approach it in a wholly unique way. Evolved and experimental progressive metal that has unbelievable anthemic properties. Their ability to sound like no one else, but also be so accessible, continues to confound, and this is a very special track from the band. Check it out here.

Atlas – Coven of Two

Atlas release their latest single and video ‘Coven of Two’, setting the tone for their third album ‘Sunder’, due 20th February 2026.

A hefty head banger that oozes atmosphere, cold and isolating, but incredibly potent. Atlas are pros at delivering expressive metal, and this track is no different, but the weight of the riffs and drums really give this one an edge. Although most will be taken in by the soaring chorus too. Check it out here.

No Murder No Moustache – A Demon in the Dark

Much-acclaimed Celtic Punk artist No Murder No Moustache (aka Owen Crawford) returns with his most powerful and personal work to date. His upcoming album, ‘As Everything Else Decays’, lands on Friday 27th February, preceded by the new single and video, ‘A Demon in the Dark’, out now.

There’s not a lot of room to manoeuvre within the Celtic punk world, so often all I hope for is something memorable and likable. Guess what? This one will get you moving, singing, and raising a whiskey glass to sky.

JustSkye – Internal War

JustSkye is a solo project with the debut single ‘Internal War’ being released on the 27th of January 2026. It is featuring Neil Hudson of Gutworm and Krysthla.

About the track, JustSkye says:

Internal War is a song about the struggles of giving everything you have to those over the years but finally having to bite the bullet and take some time for yourself to heal the problems with you have with yourself.

I’m getting in early here, mainly because JustSkye deserves to have people shouting about this track as we approach its release date. A debut single that has atmospheric melody, expressive rock power, a sense of drama delivered by impressive vocals, and a thick vein of darkness running throughout. It is a strong debut that stays with you long afterwards. Pay attention to JustSkye, there’s something special here.

Lord of the Lost – What Have We Become?

Lord of the Lost go full opulence with ‘What Have We Become?’, the latest single taken from their upcoming album, OPVS NOIR Vol. 2, out 12th December 2025 via Napalm Records. Working with exceptional British electronic music artist IAMX (aka Chris Corner).

Chris Harms commented on “What Have We Become?”:

IAMX has been one of my favourite artists for almost 20 years and has been the soundtrack of many significant moments in my life. Chris Corner’s voice and expression are so unique and unmistakable, and the feeling he conveys with every word and every note cried out for a song to be conceived at some point, which was already intended for Lord of the Lost and IAMX at its core, in which worlds collide and become one big feeling. The result is ‘What Have We Become?’, one of the most moving Lord of the Lost songs we have ever produced.

I don’t think the tracks from OPVS NOIR Vol. 2 have quite grabbed me the way OPVS NOIR Vol. 1 did, but if there’s one that stands out more than any other, it is this. Not only filled with Lord of the Lost’s penchant for flair. But filled with the dramatic elements of IMAXs sound too. Combined, we get something quite potent and memorable. The chorus is freaking huge.
