Corrosion of Conformity – Gimme Some Moore

American heavy metal legends Corrosion of Conformity will release their long-awaited new double album, Good God / Baad Man, on April 3rd via Nuclear Blast.

The band’s first preview of this mammoth offering comes in the form of lead single, ‘Gimme Some Moore’. The track features backing vocals from Ministry’s Al Jourgensen and Madonna guitarist Monte Pittman.

Welcome back Corrosion of Conformity, it has been too long and while their set up might have shifted somewhat, their groovy, stoner-infused, head banging ways haven’t. Not only is this a hefty, heavy, head-banging inducing riffy beast of a track, it’s got some really cool guests. Don’t expect anything too ground-breaking and you will come away even happier.

Filth is Eternal – Long Way

On 17th March, Seattle rock band Filth Is Eternal will release their third album, ‘Impossible World’, via MNRK Heavy. Now, the band share the latest taste of Impossible World via new single ‘Long Way’.

Speaking on its meaning frontperson Lis DiAngelo says:

We live in a time saturated by consumer culture; we are hyper-focused on acquisition and consumption as means to happiness. ‘Long Way’ is about finding ourselves at the center of that, then finding our way OUT.

A grungy sounding effort with an exciting alternative rock vein running through it, Filth is Eternal deliver a peppy number here. One that happens to have a vibrant rawness that makes it feel a bit ‘retro’, while being unmistakably them. They are a unique feature in the world of rock and metal and tracks like this prove it. Check it out here.

Saint Agnes – Good Boy

London’s Saint Agnes have released their new single ‘Good Boy’, the third featured track from their forthcoming album, ‘Your God Fearing Days Are About to Begin’. Out on May 29th, 2026.

Frontperson, Kitty A. Austen, explains:

‘Good Boy’ was written to be a scathing critique of obedient, subservient men who uphold the capitalist death cult, feed the machine and call it a virtue. It’s a snarling takedown of the so-called “good boys” who suck corporate dick and wear their complicity like a badge.

I love the intensity of this one. Saint Agnes aren’t pulling their punches here and it extends beyond the fiery vocals too. Building nicely to an explosion of heavy, groovy, alternative sounds that hits an anthemic high in the chorus.

Krooked Tongue – Blood Shark

Krooked Tongue will release their debut album ‘I Know A Place’ on April 24th, 2026. The latest single ‘Blood Shark’ is out now.

On the single’s lyrical inspirations, vocalist and lyricist Oli Rainsford explains:

‘Blood Shark’ is a jumper cable to the lazy and uninspired aspects of ourselves. A fat uppercut to our excuses for why we can’t, or don’t do the things we want to do. Everyone experiences nodus tollens at some point in their existence. Where it seems the vicissitudes of life are too turbulent to navigate. The walls are closing in and there’s not a ladder in sight. But we often need change to inspire the solution, taking a step back and approaching our inescapable slump from a different angle.

‘Blood Shark’ is a plea to find a will so strong that it becomes in itself, unstoppable. The metaphor of the ‘Blood Shark’ encapsulates the foibles of our decisions. When it’s all said and done, when we’re being lowered into the ground, the ‘Blood Shark waits at the bottom of your grave’. It feasts on a life left unfulfilled, reassuring you with a beguiling grin that it’s OK that you didn’t follow your dreams. It’s a villainous reminder that there’s still time to fight back and give the big fish an inedible final judgement. ‘Blood Shark’ is taken from our debut album ‘I Know a Place’ which is out on April 24th. We’ve been dying to get this body of work out into the world and give fans something to cherish forever.

Have I mentioned that I really like Krooked Tongue before? If you’ve been paying attention then you will be aware that I’ve raved about them a lot, and that’s not changing here. I’m stoked for the new album, and all because tracks like this showcase vibrant rock music with authentic heart and soul behind it. This is an excitable and energised effort, a track with a retro twist and tons of anthemic passion. Lovable and interesting. The perfect combo. Check it out here.

Monosphere – Idiomorph

Monosphere have released ‘Idiomorph’, the final single from their forthcoming album ‘Amnesia’, which is set for release on March 13th.

Filled with emotive melodrama, tension, and blossoming intensity, this new Monosphere track is layered and ambitious. A track that requires patience but a track that rewards your time with something quite unforgettable. Monosphere at their most distinguished sounding. Check it out here.

Cage Fight – Un Bon Souvenir

Cage Fight have announced that their second studio album ‘Exuvia’ will be released on May 1st, 2026, via Spinefarm Records. To celebrate this, they have released the new single/video, ‘Un Bon Souvenir’.

The direction modern Cage Fight is going in is very exciting and as if to hammer that point home, as they announce a new album, this new track shows expanded groove and melody, notably with clean vocals. Fear not though, it still goes really hard (Rachel is one of the best modern vocalists out there) and those hoping for two-step action won’t be left wanting.

Dog Bless – Nothings Going Well

Dublin’s shining new lights Dog Bless have released their debut single ‘Nothings Going Well’.

A catchy indie rock and pop tune with a likable vein of grunge running through it, Dog Bless make foot-tapping rhythms and infectious choruses seem so easy. There’s not a ton to say about it. It’s an easy listen with smooth melodies that get stuck in the head. Check it out here.

Civil Villains – Come Home

Civil Villains, the UK alternative rock band, have released their new single, ‘Come Home’.

Filled with heartfelt melody, expressive vocals, and potent rock twists, this is a track that might sit in the alternative world, but isn’t as easily definable. It’s a fascinating listen, evolving over time, and leaving a really strong impression. You’ll be left wanting to know so much more about the band. Check it out here.

Waterparks – ICE

Waterparks have released their surprise new song ‘ICE’ on streaming platforms. The boundary-pushing band first shared the track via socials last week, alongside the caption “FUCK ICE. NOT ON THE ALBUM, RECORDED LAST NIGHT.” Written, recorded, and released within a 24-hour window, “ICE” captures the band’s immediate emotional response to the current political climate and ongoing ICE raids across the United States.

Speaking on the release, frontman Awsten Knight shared:

If you know me at all, or follow me on any social media, you know how I feel about where the country is at. The extent to which Trump and his anonymous, kidnapper, murderer, incel, coward ICE agents have terrorized the nation has become so extreme that I felt like I couldn’t not release something like this. Sometimes it’s hard to know exactly how to help, and sharing resources is a great start, but I know we have a platform, and if I can change anyone’s minds, or reach younger people in exceedingly red households whose only window into the world is their parents, I wanna do that. I’m also happy people are hearing and sharing it, despite it being so heavily censored by the tech-right oligarchy, who have spent the last 2 years scooping up every social media platform for this exact reason. At the bare minimum, I hope it validates people’s feelings toward the situation and empowers people to get out and protest. Continue sharing information and stay safe.

When Waterparks have something to say, we listen, and this fiery blast has the potential to melt ice. The sound of a pop punk band remembering the punk side of things. Venomous lyrics and vocals, groovy instrumentals, and tons of pep, it’s not the catchiest or most memorable thing you’ll ever hear, but that hardly matters. Waterparks have something to say and we’re all listening.

Sugar Horse Secret Speech

Bristol experimental band Sugar Horse have announced that their third album, ‘Not A Sound in Heaven’, will be released on 10th April 2026 via Fat Dracula Records. To celebrate the news, the band have also shared the single ‘Secret Speech’.

Coming in hot with a heavy and powerful one, Sugar Horse continue to showcase an evolved sound that puts their experimental ways in a camp of one. They continue to be a musical anomaly, capable of making both the heart and the head ache. It’s more of the latter with this one, especially as the riffs are so thick, but don’t fool yourself into believing that it’s lacking emotion or passion. That’s not the Sugar Horse way. We should all be very excited to see what this new album brings. Check it out here.

Melrose Avenue – Taste

Sydney alt-rockers Melrose Avenue return with their new track, ‘Taste’, out now via Hopeless Records.

Speaking on the new single vocalist, Vlado Saric shares:

Taste marks the next phase of Melrose Avenue stepping out of the light and letting our darker inhibitions take over – it’s about freedom, the right to be sexual, to be desired, and to desire. We felt our fanbase was ready for this side of us, and we wanted to give them exactly that.

I do love a bit of Melrose Avenue, in fact, I love quite a lot of them, and this is another strong entry in a catalogue of anthemic tunes. It’s lively, punchy, melodic, and happens to have danceable qualities alongside a heady chorus. What more do you want? Check it out here.

Hellripper – Coronach

Scotland’s ibex-obsessed blackened thrash bastards of Hades otherwise known as Hellripper are pleased to share another new song off their upcoming, fourth studio album ‘Coronach’, to be released worldwide on March 27th, 2026, via Century Media Records. The album’s title track is out now.

What the actual f**k? I don’t know what I expected, but it wasn’t this. Even though it has been clear that this new album is Hellripper expanding, it’s still something of a shock to hear something so epic. Don’t get me wrong, it’s still black, thrashy, and filled with screaming solos and tons of reasons to bang the head, but it’s just so interesting. I’m loving the current direction of Hellripper.
