Mangata Festival 2026 Announces 12 New Bands, Including Scordatura, Ofnus, King Abyss and More!
Mangata Festival is thrilled to announce 12 new additions to the Mangata Festival 2026 line-up, set to take place on Saturday, 5th September 2026. With an already stacked roster and one final act still to be revealed, this year’s event is shaping up to be the biggest Mangata Festival to date.
Mangata Festival 2026 will once again feature five stages, working closely with Rescue Rooms, Rock City, and The Tap & Tumbler. Rescue Rooms will host the Main Stage, with the Red Room stage upstairs, located at Masonic Place, Goldsmith Street, Nottingham (NG1 5LB). Just a few minutes away, Rock City on Talbot Street (NG1 5GG) will host the Beta stage and the Black Cherry Lounge stage. Around the corner, the Tap & Tumbler at 33 Wollaton Street (NG1 5FW) will host the fifth stage, which will be free entry with no ticket required.
On the Rescue Rooms Main Stage, joining a stacked line up, with headliners ten56, Raised By Owls, Red Method, In Search of Sun and more are Scottish extreme metallers, Scordatura, formed in 2007, Scordatura have built their name based upon their bludgeoning, brutal sets at festivals in the UK and across Europe (Bloodstock Open Air, Obscene Extreme, Berlin Deathfest, UK SLAM FEST) as well as racking up mega miles with several tours across their almost 20 year career, with some of the best in the business. If you like your metal brutal and pummeling, do not miss Scordatura!
Upstairs at Rescue Rooms, the Red Room stage, joining Alpha Male Tea Party, Gurt, Syncolima and more are Death metal quintet King Abyss and black metallers Ofnus.
At Rock City’s Black Cherry Lounge, joining Giant Walker, The Grey, Tayne and more are Doom riffers Bonestrider, alt rock quartet Confyde, and noisy alt rockers a-tota-so.
A diverse mix of heavy and experimental acts are joining the Tap & Tumbler stage, including genre-bending post metallers Heartstrung, Welsh alt metallers De’Lour, post rockers You Win Again Gravity, blackened death metallers Maatkare, and nu-metalcore trio Cober Mouth.
