Horror Short Review: Stall (2025)

At a minute and thirty-eight seconds long, Stalled can be commended for what it achieves in an impossibly short amount of time. Which are some light frights, decent atmosphere, and an actual ending.

From creator Blake Ridder, the short focuses on two women in a grotty looking bathroom at a nightclub. As they touch up their makeup, the lights suddenly go out, and the music stops. Silence reigns. Just what is going on?

As I said, it’s impressive because of what it achieves in a short amount of time. There’s nothing ground-breaking or overly memorable here, but I think it is worth checking out.
