Horror Short Review: Don’t Play with Dolls 3 (2026)

The third entry in ACMofficial’s Don’t Play with Dolls shorts is a great example of how a continuing series from creator Alex Magaña can feel fresh because it has forward momentum.

I’m not taking about an over-arching story, rather the scares. Where this third entry presumes you’ve seen the other two, so puts the doll front and centre from the start. Opening with a solid scare that sets up the character of Skylar (Autumn Hayes) and her interaction with the possessed/haunted/evil doll.

Even after she makes the mistake of touching it, the scares that follow are a bit different, ensuring regular watchers like me are that bit more engaged. The ending is really good too.
