EP Review: Tallboy – House Of Glass (Self Released)

Fast rising UK alt-metal band, Tallboy, continue their swift incline with the release of their debut EP, ‘House of Glass’, which arrives on July 25th, 2025.

A band filled with life; Tallboy’s debut EP is one hell of a hyperactive effort. A record that will keep listeners on their toes as Tallboy deliver heart racing rhythms, anthemic choruses, and emphatic bursts of abrasive noise. All of this, wrapped up in an alternative style, on tracks like Insomnia, Snake, Name & Shame, and Ego Trip.

The passionate power of each track holds the attention, especially as there’s explosive heaviness throughout. Alongside hearty alternative rock infectiousness and erratic effects. There’s nothing run of the mill here, and it’s over so quickly, leaving the listener wanting so much more. The finale of Pressure Point? Tallboy at their most experimental sounding but, once again, in a creatively remarkable way. It has (arguably) got the EP’s most memorable chorus.

Banging stuff all round.

Tallboy – House of Glass Track Listing:
