EP Review: PINKNOISE – FLESH AND BONE (Nettwerk)
PINKNOISE is back and this time, Kacey Foxx isn’t pulling any punches. The hard-rock project’s sophomore EP, ‘FLESH AND BONE’, drops April 17th via Nettwerk.

One of the most talented up and coming artists in the world, PINKNOISE continues their march forward in infectiously rampaging style via a new EP that shows off a bit of heavy variety, a bit more alternative depth, even more passion, and plenty of pop-infused emotion.
THE FUTURE IS PINK seems less like a song title and more like a threat, especially as it’s a strong showcase of how PINKNOISE effortlessly blends pop with heavy rock, and how powerful the vocals are. It’s the first of many infectious efforts and complimented by the vibrancy of SING WITH ME and the wild intensity of TALK TALK. The latter is particularly noteworthy as it sees PINKNOISE let loose in fierce fashion. A track aimed at those who spit bile online in a desperate attempt to drag others down to their pathetic level.
It’s one of my favourite PINKNOISE tracks to date and I can honestly say it’s so cool to hear so much fire in the vocals.
Consistently rising above familiarity with genuine passion and power, PINKNOISE continues to create a whirlwind of anthemic intensity with the brilliant title track. Where the chorus is one of the highlights of the entire EP. Before BITE MY TONGUE and RAIN deliver varied alternative levels of moody melody, punchy anthemic prettiness, and widespread appealing intensity.
Everywhere I look, I see pink, and it’s because of the undeniable talent of PINKNOISE. Putting the emphatic exclamation mark on the EP with the expressive WHY YOU SURVIVED.
