EP Review: Jawfane – Me and All My Demons (Exitus Stratagem Records)

Hardcore/metalcore band, Jawfane will release their debut EP ‘Me and All My Demons’ on June 26th, 2025, via Exitus Stratagem Records. An EP that represents a collection of real-life experiences transformed into raw, cathartic expressions.

It is that raw and cathartic expression that really does make this EP stand out as Jawfane pour so much passion into delivering a heavy sound that combines the best of hardcore’s stomp and metalcore’s anthemic ways. Yet, if that wasn’t enough to make this a notable EP, Jawfane add in some cinematic vibes. The end result is an EP genuinely worth shouting about.

Beginning in coarse, sharp, and intense fashion, Damaged Goods is such a great opening track as it shows off so much of what makes Jawfane special. The chorus is awesome. Then there is Cataclysm (Nightmare), a creative and energised banger that folds in cool sounding effects. Alongside Me and All My Demons, a track with an old-school alternative metal vein running through it that ends in melodic fashion. It’s the kind of variety that turns heads.

The EP is impressively digestible, especially as Jawfane are as imaginative as they are authentic, and as likeable as they are listenable. There is no doubt in my mind that the penultimate track, Friends and Enemies will a firm favourite of their fanbase for some time. It’s Jawfane at their absolute best, and even though the finale of Time Hunts Us All isn’t quite as strong, it’s a vibrant blast of liberating noise.

Jawfane have arrived and with this EP, left one hell of an impression.
