Well, isn’t this a delightful slice of savagery? Bayonet Dismemberment’s new EP comes with four tracks of unrelenting noise and heaviness drawn from the brutality of 21st century warfare and will surely leave those unaccustomed to this kind of extreme metal with a bit of shell shock.

It certainly doesn’t help that the first two tracks come with stellar extreme metal guests too. Namely Ricky Meyers of Suffocation, who guests on the crushing barrage of viciousness that is the title track, and Undeath’s Alex Jones, who guests on the feral vehemence that radiates from Mutilated. Two absolute beasts, and two absolute bangers.

Though I have no complaints about something as violent sounding as Razor Wire Laceration or Decapitated. Not with riffs sharp enough to slice through flesh, drums liable to crush bones into dust, and vocals akin to the sounds most hear as hell comes rushing up to meet them.

Garish. In all the best ways.

Bayonet Dismemberment – Skull Crushed by A Tank Track Listing:

1. Skull Crushed by A Tank (Feat. Suffocation)
2. Mutilated (Feat. Undeath)
3. Razor Wire Laceration
4. Decapitated
