Sabrina: A Twitch in Time is third-person 3D platformer released on the PS1 in 2001 and is the perfect example of just how poorly designed many PS1 games where. It has some of the most frustrating controls I’ve ever experienced and one of the worst cameras ever. Both those two things make it nearly unplayable but if you do perversely play on you’ll find a wholly unsatisfying game that just isn’t much fun to play.
Thrill Kill was meant to be released mid-1998 but after massive controversy regarding the game’s content and themes, it was cancelled. However, the game was complete. This has meant that it is widely available to play, you just need to find it.
Unsurprisingly, Mary-Kate and Ashley: Magical Mystery Mall is not a good game. In fact, it’s down-right terrible but it has a tiny bit of charm.
Developed by Neversoft and published by Activision at the end of 1998 for PlayStation, Apocalypse is a third person shooter probably most well known for its use of actor Bruce Willis.
Spyro 2: Ripto’s Rage isn’t as fondly remembered as the original but in many areas it is actually a superior game.
One such series that found life on the PS1 but has since fallen on hard times are the Spyro the Dragon games.
No-one has been able to capture the world of South Park correctly (until recently with The Stick of Truth) & South Park Rally doesn’t even come close.
Soul Reaver is a sequel to Blood Omen: Legacy of Kain but you wouldn’t know that on first glance. The difference 3 years makes is unbelievable when comparing the 2 games.
