Bloodstock 2025 Band Feature: Nothing Speaks
It’s the most wonderful time of the year! It’s Bloodstock time and 2025 is looking to be one of the best events the festival has ever put on, if we’re judging it by bands… which we are, of course.
Taking place at Catton Park, Derbyshire from August 7th to August 10th, Bloodstock Festival 2025 has not only sold out all its weekend tickets, but it also sold out day tickets for the Saturday and the Sunday and it seems likely that Friday will follow suit before the festival actually starts. Boasting a lineup that includes the likes of Emperor, Lacuna Coil, Ministry, Mastodon, Fear Factory, Static-X, Nailbomb, Kataklysm, Obituary, and headliners, Trivium, Machine Head, Gojira, and so much more spread across four stages, it’s going to be one hell of a weekend.

Nothing Speaks
Nothing Speaks are a four-piece grunge rock band hailing from Edinburgh, Scotland. From massive riffs to crazy guitar solos, they are a force of high-octane power and have been revving hard since they arrived on the scene and dropped their banging debut EP, ‘Secrets’.
As well as gigging as much a humanly possible during this time, they continued to be proficient in the studio. Releasing the single, ‘Caves’ at the end of 2024, the single ‘Obey’ at the start of 2025, and most recently, the single ‘No. 2’.
All while taking part in the Scotland’s Metal 2 the Masses events, which they won, earning their place at Bloodstock on the New Blood stage. It’s simple really, expect grungy riffs, groovy rock rhythms, and plenty of heaviness to get even the most ardent of head bangers moving.
We asked them what it means to play the festival this year, what Bloodstock overall means to them, and what attendees can expect from their set.
Playing Bloodstock this year means everything to us. It’s a festival we’ve looked up to for years — a real cornerstone of the metal community in the UK. To be part of that legacy, sharing the stage with bands we’ve grown up listening to, is honestly surreal.
Bloodstock represents more than just a festival, it’s a celebration of heavy music from around the world. It’s a place where underground and established acts come together. The energy, the unity, the pure love for the scene we absolutely love it.
As for our set, expect it heavy breakdowns, technical riffs and shredding guitar solos, We’re bringing everything. Whether you know us or not, we’re coming to leave a mark. See you in the pit.
