Horror Short Review: The Laundry (2025)
In an attempt to make everything ‘frightening’, writer and director Alex Magaña (ACMofficial) now turns his attention to the laundry and, unsurprisingly, fails to deliver much here.

Starring Marz Bannos, Nicholas Solis, and Richard Corsillo, The Laundry is as simple as it gets, and that’s saying something when you remember this is an ACMofficial horror short. A woman is doing her laundry when she notices her clothes have been strewn about the place. Who did it? She blames her boyfriend and insists that he put them back in the dryer, which he does, except he hears something inside and when she comes to check out him, he has disappeared.
Where did he go and why are her clothes moving on their own?

It’s not very good. The premise is bland, the ACM tropes are unremarkable, and the ending is groan-worthy. In fact, the only thing worth praising is the acting, which is solid, and the music, which is dramatic. This is one hell of a miss for ACMofficial.
