Princeless Princess is a woman’s fantasy. It’s about the de-centering of men and challenging the outdated idea that women need a Prince Charming to give their lives meaning. Even in 2025, this remains a cultural issue — seen clearly in the rise of incel culture, everyday misogyny, and the growing Trad Wife anti-feminist movements across social media.

The EP re-imagines the submissive traditional fairytale, where women are expected to be quiet and obedient, flipping the rule book and empowering women to be their loud, assertive, and unapologetic selves. It’s a call to reclaim the narrative and defy the roles forced upon us.

While the EP dives into fantasy, sexuality, and escapism, it also confronts the real struggles of sexism and male violence, blending harsh truth with empowering imagination.

Delilah Bon, changing the game with every release, whether you like it or not. The boundary pushing artist is back and back with another set of anthemic, but piercing efforts that display all that we love about her but also display forward momentum and experimentation.

On this EP, there’s nothing as sharp as Princeless Princess, especially from a lyrical point. However, it’s the way in which Delilah delivers the rap that kicks so much ass. She’s on fire, and that this track just happens to have a big chorus too is why it’s the EP ‘s showcase track. Although don’t let that fool you into thinking Dragon and Cinderella are lacking, as if. Never when Delilah Bon is involved, and the former is enthusiastically experimental and quite liberal with effects.

Whereas the latter is a middle finger to some of the worst people in society and if you’re offended by what Delilah is saying here, chances are you’re who she is speaking about. I’d say go cry about it on the internet, but who am I kidding, you’re slamming your hairy fists on the keyboard already.

Delilah doesn’t care and she will continue to call out your bullshit in her unique, captivating, and clever way. Evident by the final track BUSH Master, which is a witty takedown of double standards as only she can produce. Is it amazing music all the time? No, but damn if it isn’t so very listenable and enjoyable.
