Bloodstock 2025 Band Feature: Head Dent

It’s the most wonderful time of the year! It’s Bloodstock time and 2025 is looking to be one of the best events the festival has ever put on, if we’re judging it by bands… which we are, of course.

Taking place at Catton Park, Derbyshire from August 7th to August 10th, Bloodstock Festival 2025 has not only sold out all its weekend tickets, but it also sold out day tickets for the Saturday and the Sunday and it seems likely that Friday will follow suit before the festival actually starts. Boasting a lineup that includes the likes of Emperor, Lacuna Coil, Ministry, Mastodon, Fear Factory, Static-X, Nailbomb, Kataklysm, Obituary, and headliners, Trivium, Machine Head, Gojira, and so much more spread across four stages, it’s going to be one hell of a weekend.

Head Dent

Head Dent are a “no logos on the foam”, high-energy Punk band based in the West Midlands. With influences from an array of artists such as Pissed Jeans, Idles and Trash Talk, they are ready to rip ass and serve face. The audible equivalent of being kicked in the HEAD.

Their debut EP ‘The Dent’ was released in July 2024, featuring five tracks of addictive, heart-pounding, and concussion inducing noise. They then released a limited-edition cassette tape via Buzzhowl Records called ‘Coupla Trax’ which featured the bangers ‘Footloose’ and ‘Macho Man’.

Winning the Stoke Metal 2 the Masses event, Head Dent have earned their spot at Bloodstock and will appear on the Saturday of the festival on the Timothy Taylors New Blood stage. It’s going to be, and noisy, but don’t take our word for it. We asked Head Dent what it means to play the festival this year, what Bloodstock overall means to them, and what attendees can expect from their set, and this is what they had to say:

We’re absolutely buzzing to have played and won the Stoke Metal to the Masses final and to be playing this year’s Bloodstock Festival!

To be playing alongside some of the heaviest and most legendary names is surreal, we’ve idolized many of these bands for years now — but we’re ready to bring the noise, the chaos, and that raw Head Dent energy to the Bloodstock stage.

Be there to experience the musical equivalent of being kicked in the HEAD.
