A throwback to the point & click games of old, Double Fine’s Broken Age is a smart, fun and funny game that will delight as many as it will infuriate. Infuriate as it has the kind of puzzles that often seem so random but that feeling when you solve a particularly tricky one is so gratifying.
Through the Woods is a third-person Norwegian horror adventure video game developed by the indie studio Antagonist. Indie as hell, it begun life as a student project before transitioning to Kickstarter where it was full funded. Originally released on Steam and Windows in the latter half of 2016, it has now made its way to the Xbox One.
Released for the Sega Megadrive/Genesis in 1993, Rocket Knight Adventures is a side scrolling platformer developed by Konami. A phenomenal game that has barely aged a day, other then having some extremely difficult moments, it is a joy to play.

A free to play game, Swappy Cat is a surprisingly good release. One that breaks a lot of conventional norms for the free to play model by being mostly ad-free. As well as not shoving its in-app purchases down your throat or making the game harder so to encourage real money spend.
