1. Hello! Thank you for taking the time to chat to us. First things first, tell us a little bit about yourself and how you got started.

Hi guys! I’m Romeo, lead singer and guitarist of Reaven. We’ve been performing under this band’s name since 2017. We are based in France. Please welcome as well Vince (drums-back vocals), Rudy (Bass-back vocals) and André (keyboards-back vocals).

2. Someone comes to you and asks you to sum up what kind of music you play – what do you tell them?

I think we could say Rock or Indie Rock but with a mix of Pop and some Electro sounds as well.

3. What’s currently going on in your camp? New releases? Tours? Etc.

We are actually back on tour with the second part of our For Tomorrow Tour. Shows booked all across Europe but also for the first time in South and Central America for the end of this year. We just released a new single called Never Let Me Go. We are about to film the music video. And next September we will very probably release a new EP.

4. What has been the most positive experience of making music to date for you?

Definitely touring. I am so fond of travelling and when you can do that and play music at the same time it is like the perfect combination. Also, being on stage is really our thing.

5. Likewise, what have been some of the more challenging aspects and how have you overcome them?

Patience is the key. Sometimes, you want things to go fast, you want to see things growing faster, and it is challenging as an artist. But, if you want to last in this industry you have to learn how to be patient and that some things take time.

6. How do you handle the modern expectations of being in a band? Always online, having to put out content constantly, your success measured in likes and follows?

Honestly, it takes a lot of time. It is sometimes really boring because you have to be in this “race” where you need to post a lot, so people can “see” you. We don’t measure our success with the likes and follows, we keep on believing that our success is measured through our concerts, and when we perform in front of people.

7. What’s something that really ‘grinds your gears’ about the industry/business these days and what would you propose is done to combat it?

Probably the fact that today everything is all about statistics. Number of streams, number of followers etc… And we don’t talk anymore about music and music’s quality. If you have 1 million subscribers, your music is “good” because people follow you. And I think we can all agree that numbers and music’s quality are two different things. To combat it, I think workers of this industry should do their job like they used to before. Go and discover music performed live !! This is where the magic happens. Not behind a screen.

8. Speaking directly to listeners – what would you ask they do to help support your music?

Guys, listen to our songs, spread the word, learn our lyrics and come sing it loud with us during our shows!! Let’s rock all together!!

9. Outside of the music, what’s do you do to relax?

I like to cook and read, go outside and just have peaceful walks in nature for example. When you are touring, life is going so fast. You need to find a balance and take time for yourself when you’re not on the road.

10. Where can people find you?
