Another day, another collectable review. If you’ve read the title then you’ll know that I’m here to talk about a wonderful figure of Cirilla Fiona Elen Riannon or Ciri as she’s most commonly known. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt has easily become one of my favourite games of all time. This is something that I’m sure many of you can relate to. Ciri is undoubtedly one of the best characters in the game, why wouldn’t I want a statue of her?
Firstly, my absolute favourite aspect of this figure is how much of a good job it does of capturing her likeness. The detailing on her face, outfit and accessories is really impressive considering how inexpensive it is. It’s easy to see that great effort has gone into ensuring its authenticity. You can buy similar figures of other characters. Each of them are hand painted and come in a deluxe window box.
Looking at the figure up close gives you an even greater appreciation for how expertly done the paint job is. From the realistic folding in the clothing to the impressive definition in the hair, even the pouches on her belt can open and close.
In this image you can see how much of a good job has been done in recreating Ciri’s likeness.
Finally, we have the solid base upon which she stands. The engraved image in the form of the Witcher wolf medallion is a wonderful addition. The Witcher medallion is not only an insignia of the profession, it is also one of its tools. It has numerous useful capabilities that are accessible, of course, only to one who possesses the necessary knowledge and training.
Well, there you have it. Personally, I couldn’t hope for a better figure of Ciri unless it was entirely carved out of stone. I hope to get the other characters so I can complete my collection at some point. Not matter what you feel about this figure, It’s hard to complain considering how much is generally charged for it. In my opinion, it’s an absolute steal and well worthy of a place on my shelf.
